To that end and in compliance with SEC guidelines for disclosing our firm’s policy, this notice is provided to you as a client or investor to remind you of our concern for, and our efforts related to the protection of, your personal, non-public information.
All information given to CSI and all recommendations and advice furnished by CSI to its clients will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone, except as CSI may so agree in writing, as may be required to do so by law, or as is described below in providing CSI’s services for clients. Our policy is not to sell this NPI to any outside parties, vendors or solicitors under any circumstance or for any purpose.
CSI may collect and keep non-public and personal information (NPI) about its clients to provide services as requested by clients and as part of any engagement with clients. This information may be collected as a result of transactions with CSI, our affiliates or others. By way of example, this NPI may be collected as part of a private placement of securities, work performed on a merger or acquisition, or other similar activity. CSI maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to comply with federal standards to guard its clients’ confidential personal information.
Should a client agree to accept financial advisory services provided by CSI, CSI may share the client’s NPI with non-affiliated third parties or with individuals as directed by you and as permitted by law. This sharing may occur in order to fulfill such functions as completing due diligence, record keeping, computer related services, other firm services activities, and compliance with legal or regulatory authorities. When we do provide NPI to a third party or service provider, these third parties or service providers agree to safeguard your information, to use the information only for the intended purpose, and to abide by applicable law. Where applicable, CSI contractually obligates third parties or service providers to maintain strict confidentiality. CSI will share only the appropriate customer NPI needed to facilitate services on behalf of its clients.
